YOUR INPUT - WHAT I NEED FROM YOU
If you’d like me to build something for you, here are the things I’ll need to know:
1. Description. What is it? Describe your project the best way you can. Text me a sketch or send me a photo of something similar and tell me how yours should be different. Photos of problems of things to be repaired are especially helpful. Call me and have a conversation with me so we can each talk, ask questions and listen to each other. Tell me about size, quantity, shape, dimensions, weight, color, materials, purpose, function, form and anything else that’s important to you.
2. Boundaries. Tell me how much artistic license I have in creating it. If your description is precise, I’ll assume little license. If your description is vague, I’ll assume a lot. We should agree on how much license you’re giving me: total, majority, moderate, minority, none.
3. Timing. When do you want it? How flexible are you? We will need to talk about this, considering each of our current situations.
4. Communication: What is your contact information and how do you prefer that I communicate with you? Here’s mine: Chris Kairys (rhymes with cherries), 2575A Grouse Ridge Road, Wexford PA 15090. chris.kairys@gmail.com. 412-944-3784 (textable mobile phone). Please contact me whatever way you wish.
